IBE Hairdresser Awards 2009
In conjunction with International Beauty Expo 2009, IBE Hairdresser Awards 2009 has concluded its 2nd edition with an truly inspirational scene. Contestant have presented the most flaunting, amazing and inspiring creation which interpret the competition theme – Asymmetric Cut (Commercial Style) and Passionate Retro (Fantasy Open). The competition came to an end with the announcement of the winners. Haw Hoon Chye of Creative Look Hair Academy won the Grand prize of Commercial Category; meantime, Lee Wei Wei and Jeff Tan Wee Chian of Creative Look Hair Academy as well, won the grand prize of Fantasy Open category.

A panel of independent judges is there to cast their critical eyes which included Gibson Loong, Bengio Leong, Edwin Ang, Andy Ho, Shawn Loong, Raymond Choi, as well as Judy Lin and Lee Chung Yuan from Taiwan. “Overall, all the contestant have indeed done a good job. They have presented a glamorous hair show which able to compete with the international level. I’m really impressed with IBE Hairdresser Awards 2009”, says both Judy Lin and Lee Chung Yuan.
